Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data team
. This is a hybrid role split between our site in Madrid and remote working.

This is a great opportunity to join us as we enter the next phase of our growth. You will be responsible for delivering Data Management & Engineering solutions to support operational and business needs including performance, data quality and other requirements

We would like you to:

  • Cleanse and model data to support new services and products.
  • Collaborate with Volta stakeholders to understand their data and use cases.
  • Transpose stakeholder requirements into data management solutions supporting in order to best support the business.
  • Thoroughly develop and test the solutions.
  • Collaborate and support the wider Volta team in development of methodologies, data engineering processes and deliverables.

We would like you to have:

  • Strong programming experience with Python, Scala and SQL.
  • Comfort building and maintaining ETL pipelines in Azure Data factory.
  • Have a good background of Data Warehousing using principles such as Kimball and Data Vault.
  • Proficiency in Databricks, data lakes, Service principles and Key vaults.
  • A solid understanding of CI/CD practices
  • Commercial experience using Snowflake. (While commercial experience is preferred please don't be put off if you haven't used it within your role but still have a decent understanding)
