Middleware Architect at Coty

The A2A Integration Architect (aka Integration Architect) will provide technical leadership, oversight, standardization, and validation of integration and middleware application architecture for A2A interfaces globally.

The Architect will collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other IT teams, guiding integration efforts concerning distributed Enterprise Applications and Data Integration platform. They will act as a link between local resources and offshore development, overseeing development, testing, and ensuring quality control. Reporting to the Director A2A Integration.

The 3rd party iWay Support team will handle processing issues on a 1st and 2nd level. 3rd level support by iWay Architects and Developers. Technical issues resolved by US and European teams. Data issues handled by specific teams based on customer locations.

Part of Coty's IT department, this role is within the Middleware & Business-Related Architecture CoE, responsible for Middleware, RPA, collaboration & Java applications, under the Global Architecture & Engineering Center of Excellence in Coty IT.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and deploy application components meeting high standards for performance, availability, and compliance.
  • Provide leadership for the integration platform across projects.
  • Understand business needs to introduce technical solutions that enhance middleware capabilities.
  • Lead integration/performance testing, support UAT, and ensure defect-free interfaces with optimal performance.
  • Enhance Middleware governance based on best practices and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Contribute to Enterprise IT strategies, compliance regulations, and development guidelines.
  • Oversee security gateway, agency adapter platform, and associated application and data integration initiatives.
  • Manage special tech projects as assigned.
  • Continuous improvement of development, testing, and documentation standards.

The team comprises 14 middleware developers and architects. Collaborates with SAP, Supply Chain, and Finance departments in a vibrant environment.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You excel at managing tasks collaboratively in a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment. Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years designing and developing middleware applications.
  • 3+ years interfacing with SAP.
  • Understanding of purchasing and sales business processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle & MS-SQL databases, XML Technologies, SOAP, JSON, REST.
  • Experience with iWay service manager or similar middleware products.
  • Ability to plan technical architecture and documentations, solid testing knowledge.
  • Experience in interface development life cycles and working with diverse teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional advantageous capabilities may include Java development, PKI architecture, project management, and monitoring tools.
