What we do:
  • Our Staff engineers are the end-to-end owners who drive the process of designing, building, and deploying insights from petabytes of data to help clients make data-driven decisions for their businesses.
  • You will be working on a forecasting solution that provides real-time responses while operating on a massive dataset.
  • The forecasting system is integral to a lot of TTD features and our business model.
  • Our data engineers tackle algorithmic, optimization, and scale challenges in a collaborative environment utilizing various technologies.

What you'll do:
  • Act as a technical leader on multi-month, multi-person projects.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to drive engineering decisions based on product knowledge.
  • Own end-to-end product development and deployment using internal tools.
  • Guide junior engineers and facilitate their growth through mentorship.

Who you are:
  • Have a track record of technical leadership on complex projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders and help team members understand the purpose of their work.
  • Specialize in working with large datasets, familiar with technologies like Spark and building applications in Java, C#, or Scala.
  • Experience with SQL databases, containerized software deployment, and familiarity with Linux.
  • Open to sharing knowledge and collaborating with team members.
  • Value diversity, eager to learn and innovate, and adept at problem-solving.
