About the role
This 2024 has come with new creative challenges that are making our creative team grow.
Therefore we are assembling a strong creative team and are currently seeking a versatile English-speaking Senior Art Director experienced in online and offline formats and campaigns, and accustomed to working closely with the Senior Creative Copywriter in a creative duo format reporting into the lead Art Director and the Creative Director.
You would be part of the conceptualization process, thoroughly understanding the brand identity and proposing fresh and innovative visual ideas that convey its messages, values, and personality, for a variety of clients such us SKYN, the #1 non-latex condoms brand in the US, or Galderma, the world's largest independent dermatology company, to support their global communication across all online and offline channels.
Your role would involve establishing and executing visual brand guidelines and templates and supervising a small team of designers ensuring not only the quality but also the development of the art direction you have set.
Responsibilities
- Develop the overall look or style of the assets involving the online and offline campaigns by designing visual brand guidelines and templates
- Craft original concepts, execute key art based on established voice/tone, and collaborate with mid
- Create and present concepts for client campaigns and new business that meet strategic and business goals
- Supervision of all the work delivered to our clients from an Art Direction point of view
- Ensure the completion of all projects within the given timeframe while managing different and simultaneous deadlines, prioritizing work effectively
- Ensuring all assets created are on brief, to spec and on brand
- Alongside the Senior Creative Copywriter, lead the team responsible for putting together client presentations, documents for pitches and other similar documents
- Ensure the creative team is creating content with the channel specifics in mind, good UI and crossbrowser compatibility
- Understand and coordinate all technical specifications supplied by media agencies (and ensure the team understands them too)
- Ensure all elements like reference files, brand assets, fonts etc. have been supplied by the Producer/PM before commencing work on a brief. If not, flagging any missing assets ASAP
- Attend to video and photo shoots and oversee their art direction
- Talk to clients and present creative concepts and designs
- Present work internally and to clients
- Work together with copywriters, planning, and account team to provide creative, strategically sound solutions for client, inhouse and new business needs

- 7+ years of experience as an Art Director/Graphic designer in a digital agency (or in a similar environment)
- Portfolio with successfully launched client projects and concepts across broadcast work, digital, social, and everything in between
- Thorough familiarity with current US mainstream culture, entertainment, influencers and trends and also stay uptodate with fashion, beauty, cosmetics, and skincare trends
- An outstanding eye for great design and a passion for delivering creative work
- Ability to proactively suggest improvements to brief
- Ability to deliver and present conceptual work
- Ability to deliver and present high complexity briefs working in partnership with a Senior Creative Copywriter (both reporting to the Creative Director)
- A thorough knowledge of key features within Adobe Cloud
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to guide and inspire the creative team to achieve outstanding results
- Good knowledge of all the major digital channels and Social Media platforms, including being familiar with their technical specifications
- Strong design, creativity, and strategybased communication skills
- Eager to learn and improve from new techniques and new tools, such as AI
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong verbal communication skills in order to speak effectively with internal teams and clients
