About the Role


Embark on a dynamic role as a Finance Assistant in our Spain office, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our operations.

As a crucial member of our finance team, you will not only handle month-end accounting and tax reporting but also contribute to the daily financial activities that drive the success of our organization.

What You'll Do:

Month-End Accounting:

  • Support in the preparation of monthend accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and manage the Fixed Assets schedule, providing a clear overview of the Company's assets.
  • Reconcile the Company's main cost accounts, diligently reporting any discrepancies.
  • Prepare the Company's payroll report, highlighting key variances for further analysis.

Taxes:

  • Prepare and report the ISI reporting to the Spanish Tax Agency (SII), ensuring compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of other tax forms, including withholding taxes and VAT.

Bank of Spain Reporting:

  • Collaborate in the preparation of Bank of Spain regulatory reporting, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and reconcile operational reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Other Tasks:

  • Prepare the daily cashflow forecast, contributing to effective financial planning.
  • Manage employees' expenses, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide support to other teams with financial queries, leveraging your financial expertise.

What you'll Need

  • Possession of an Accounting/Finance degree, establishing a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • 23 years of experience in a similar finance position, demonstrating proficiency and reliability.
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written, facilitating effective communication.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems, enhancing efficiency in financial tasks.
  • Exceptional Excel data analytics skills, enabling indepth financial analysis.
  • Desire for payroll experience, showcasing a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
