• Adapt MOVUS policies and create and implement the Environmental Management Plan
• Project lead the practical implementation and provide training and support to all staff in facilitating the implementation of the new incident reporting and risk assessment system,
• Review, develop and improve the organization's safety management system, ensuring that HSE risks are identified, assessed, and managed with appropriate control measures in order to comply with legal and regulatory requirements
• Provide advice and support to the organization regarding changes in the HSE legislation, ensuring that they are incorporated into relevant policies, procedures, and training
• Advise/deliver required HSE training and assist managers in carrying out risk assessments across all areas of the organization as well as carrying out risk assessments in critical areas
• Analyse and report near misses, accidents, and incidents and carry out investigations
• Perform site inspections and audits and drive corresponding corrective actions
• In all areas of work actively model and promote a safety culture and proactive environmental sustainability

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 25 years of QHSE experience
• 13 years of experience in Warehouse HSE Processes
• Experience with Quality and Document Management Systems
• A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of health, safety, environmental management and risk management.
• A comprehensive knowledge of current HSE legislation, management and standards
• Ability to interpret and provide authoritative advice on health and safety and risk management issues
• Knowledge of workplace wellbeing initiatives and how they add value to an organisation
• Experience in the FMCG industry and with food products is a big plus
• Strong communication skills, including with Senior Management
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with great attention to detail
