RoleJoining our Investment Team means taking on diverse responsibilities, including:
- Developing complex financial models for various renewable energy projects, such as photovoltaic, wind, BESS, and hybrid projects worldwide.
- Assisting the Investment Team in M&A negotiations, fund raising, project finance, and sales processes.
- Assessing potential investment opportunities against set company standards, offering key insights for strategic decision-making.
- Contributing to the creation of proposals and term sheets for project financing and sale agreements.
- Examining electricity market trends to evaluate their impact on project profitability.
- Analyzing different energy offtake structures to recommend optimal options for project success.
- Degree in economics, finance, mathematics, industrial engineering, or related fields. An MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in financial modeling and analysis in the finance sector, preferably focusing on renewable energy.
- Expertise in cash flow modeling is crucial.
- Prior experience in renewables and financial statement analysis is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Excel is a must, with knowledge of macro-programming (Visual Basic programming) being beneficial.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for clear financial concept delivery.
- Analytical mindset, structured problem-solving approach, and eagerness to learn.
- Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in other languages like German or Spanish is a bonus.
