The Job Opportunity

This position offers you the chance to collaborate closely with the local Legal Team and business partners on a variety of legal matters related to innovative, generic, and OTC products. You will provide legal support to local teams, both in day-to-day operations and strategic projects, while also working with the regional EU Legal team on various issues.

A Day in Your Life

  • Offer legal support to the Spanish team on activities related to innovative, generic, and OTC products, ensuring compliance with local and EU laws, as well as with Teva policies;
  • Identify potential legal risks proactively and help implement strategies to mitigate them;
  • Identify legal opportunities to add value to the business;
  • Advise on unfair competition, advertising, and general commercial matters;
  • Handle appeals against administrative decisions, tenders, etc.;
  • Draft and negotiate various commercial contracts;
  • Provide guidance on competition and data protection issues;
  • Assist in creating, reviewing, and training local teams on relevant legal policies;
  • Stay updated on emerging legal trends;
  • Contribute to the development of best legal practices in innovative, generic, and OTC sectors;
  • Prepare corporate documentation for Teva Group companies.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Hold a Law degree in Spain and be a Spanish Bar Admitted Lawyer;
  • Have a minimum of two years of legal experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/life sciences practice as in-house counsel or in private practice;
  • Possess strong technical skills in legal areas like Civil & Commercial Law, Privacy & Data Protection, Administrative Law, and Competition Law;
  • Understanding of the dynamics and customer needs in the life sciences field is a plus;
  • Fluency in English is required;
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Show ability to work well in diverse cultural and skill environments;
  • Be a self-starter with a proactive attitude and a drive for achieving results;
  • Exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and hands-on approach;
  • Display energy, hard work, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines;
  • Capability to perform in a changing and dynamic work setting;
  • Possess analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
