We are currently seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our JLL Technologies Smart buildings team.

This role will be working closely with Envio team.
What this job involves

As a Full Stack Engineer at JLL Technologies, you will:

Responsibilities:

  • Create welltested datafocused and objectorientated Python services to satisfy Data Science product requirements.
  • Maintain and develop the backend services for our IOT control framework.
  • Optimise the flow and storage of relevant data from internal and external sources.
  • Utilise nextgeneration and innovative ML and AI techniques to extract maximum business value from our IOT datasets.
  • Work collaboratively with backend software engineers, data scientists and QA engineers to develop high quality and innovative software solutions.
  • Document code consistently throughout the development process, and convey requirements, expectations, and deliverables to other JLLT teams.
  • Analyse existing data pipelines and services and suggest modifications to improve functionality and efficiency.
  • Assist the product owner and team lead with the translation of business requirements to specifications for team implementation.
  • Assist other developers and data scientists with bestpractices, troubleshooting, and the PR process for code changes.
  • Contribute to a range of projects, from oneoff solutions to longterm complex systems.
  • Assist with the buildout of tooling and software development processes for the Data Science team.
  • Support backend engineers with security requirements and recommendations, including encryption, data integrity, access controls, and employee security guidelines.
  • Consider security requirements and best practices during all phases of development, producing secure and safe software.
  • Work closely with other developers and data scientists to develop APIs and GUIs for accessing and visualizing data.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 35 years of experience as a backend, data, or full stack engineer (within the field of machine learning or data science)
  • Experience deploying backend or ML services using AWS cloud services and/or Kubernetes
  • Experience training machine learning models in the IOT domain
  • Ability to perform indepth statistical analysis on IOT datasets and ML model results
  • Experience using CI/CD tools such as Docker, Jenkins and GitHub actions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of agile software development
  • Experience interacting with inhouse or external data APIs interfaces
