- You will be part of a team of over Technology and Data experts, in 25 countries, with the goal of leveraging technology to advance the bank.
- You will contribute to nearly 1,800 cutting-edge technology projects annually that positively impact 85 million individuals.
- You will engage with a wide array of technologies, ranging from well-established to groundbreaking ones: 46 programming languages, 201 development platforms, and more.
- You will collaborate with major tech partners such as Microsoft, Google, AWS, Salesforce, IBM, and others.
- You will be involved in innovative projects spanning Development, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Data.
- You will gain knowledge through hands-on project work, interact with experts, access BBVA's training resources, and engage with the Ninja project, a gamified training platform with a large community.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strategic thinking, conceptualization, and storytelling skills
- Ability to simplify and articulate complex ideas
- Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
- Attention to detail and dedication to excellence
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent English proficiency (minimum C1 level)
- Teamwork and collaborative skills
- Positive attitude, desire to learn, and commitment to high-quality work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel and Google Data Studio proficiency
- Analytical skills for understanding and validating KPIs
- Ability to manage routine tasks independently
- Experience in creating high-quality, visually appealing presentations
- Creative and visual content creation skills
- Capability to innovate and connect strategic concepts
- Experience in leading sessions and events
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Skills in managing responsibility and commitment
Overview
BBVA is undergoing a significant transformation to become a data-driven company where data and analytics drive all banking aspects. Data's project delivery has grown eightfold in the last three years, with a portfolio of about 750 projects with major strategic and business implications. This momentum marks the beginning, as new technologies like cloud computing and AI, particularly Generative AI, will play vital roles in executing projects and shaping banking's future.
