The Position

Roche defined an exciting 10-year ambition plan requiring us to anticipate, adapt and transform so as to allow us to be fit for purpose and meet the challenges ahead of us. To ensure we can succeed in this new environment and deliver on our mission for patients, Global Procurement (GP) has transformed and built new capabilities to "accelerate Roche's goal to bring innovative solutions to patients quickly and efficiently through business and supplier partnerships".

What is "Insights & Solutions"?

Insights & Solutions was established as a new capability in the Enablement Chapter in GP at the beginning of 2022. Our team is dedicated to co-creating, delivering, implementing, and enhancing solutions to tackle complex business challenges and seize opportunities. Among these themes, we actively address innovative solutions in the space of product commercialization and corporate services. Our focus revolves around various areas, including but not limited to:

Martech solutions digital customer engagement and omnichannel excellence data driven decision making in product commercialization congresses, meetings and events including travel human resources services fleet management legal services

What we do is to connect external market capabilities to internal Roche needs, co-create innovative external market offerings and proactively provide market insights and intelligence to the organization.

We are looking to recruit an outstanding candidate in either Madrid (Spain) or Welwyn (UK). Successful candidates are expected to spend the majority of their working time on campus.

As the Market Solution Manager for Commercial & Corporate Services, you'll work in a dynamic global environment, helping the business address complex challenges, seize market opportunities, and implement new solutions in Roche/GNE. You'll collaborate with various teams to understand business challenges, scout, implement, run, and enhance solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

As a Market Solutions Manager, you will play a variety of roles according to your experience, knowledge, and general requirements, including but not limited to:

Drive commercial & corporate services solutions: Collaborate with the business and GP teams as well as external providers to drive all stages of solution development. Act as a Subject Matter Expert: Provide expertise and input in market analysis, assessing niche requests to identify business trends. Develop Frameworks and Approaches: Identify, refine, and manage frameworks, tools, and approaches to proactively meet business needs. Advocate and Enable: Lead and advise business stakeholders, align and co-create solutions that connect procurement and business questions to market knowledge. Foster Collaborations: Create and nurture GP and Roche-wide collaborations, promote cross-functional teams and strategic direction.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree will be a plus, and have 5+ years experience within either marketing & sales and / or corporate services departments, procurement and / or consulting organizations, ideally in a matrix organization. You also demonstrate success in building and cultivating collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Moreover, ideal candidates have:

In-depth experience either with commercialization or corporate services strategies in the pharmaceutical industry Have demonstrated experience delivering strategies, market expertise and innovation for clinical trials; Demonstrated success in building credibility and trust; and cultivating collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills; Navigated across ambiguous areas in a flexible, matrix, and rapidly changing environment; Business level fluency in English; any additional language is a plus.
