Regional Apc

BUNGE has an exciting opportunity available for a
Regional APC _(Advance Process Control)_
Expert. In this role you will work closely with local site automation engineers, OT and automation market leads, global automation working group and operation process experts to leverage advanced control techniques, to improve manufacturing processes.

Our future colleague will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring process control strategies with a regional scope; Focusing on design, implement, advanced control and instrumentation proposals.

Some additional responsibilities will be:

• Work closely with local site automation engineers to implement and evaluate defined control strategy, advanced control and instrumentation proposals.
• Define and evaluate process control KPI ́s to assess and improve automation performance. Maintain and finetune existing PID control loops.
• Working actively in the global automation working group to define standards and collaborate with teams from other regions to share best practices.
• Explore and implementing new ways to automate systems.
• Interaction with process historians, enabling communications and data for deeper analysis.
• Interface with several corporate and local areas, preparation of technical documents, presentations, and reports.
• Background: Engineering, Automation, Computer Science.
• Advanced English (other languages will be a plus).
• Availability for frequent travels.
• Control techniques knowledge, especially with Advanced and Multivariable controllers.
• Knowledge Tools: Microsoft Office package, BI tools (Tableau Power BI).
• Siemens; Allen Bradley; Schneider Electric, Emerson, Eaton PLC programming knowledge.
• PCS7, Intouch, DeltaV; Wonderware programming knowledge. AVIVA PI system.
• Knowledge of the oil and fat production process is an advantage.
• Excited about trying new solutions and experience with project management.
