The successful candidate will be part of a talented team of product managers with the mission of defining and owning the B2B product roadmap. We are looking for a natural product leader that will bring value to HBX Group. Agility, adaptability, determination, resilience, communication and relational skills, analytical skills are the key success factors for this role.
Detecting the need to raise the initiativeDetect and manage the dependencies with teams across the companyManage dependencies and coordinate them so deadlines are accomplishedValidate final solutionDefine and monitor KPI and measurement indicators.
Communicating and managing expectations with stakeholders and reporting on timings and functionalityManage incidents that are escalated to youManage tools that the team needs and coordinate business case acceptance, budget proposal, and invoice payment for the sameRequired SkillsRole Experience:Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role,ideally within the travel, hospitality, or bedbank sector, with a specific focus on productsourcing
Understanding of Hotel Sourcing:
Deep knowledge of the hotel industry' s dynamics,specifically in sourcing, contracting, and managing hotel inventory and relationships withhotels and chains.
Technical Proficiency:
Comfortable with technology, able to understand and discusstechnical concepts, and work closely with engineers on product development.
Experiencewith web technologies, APIs for inventory management, and agile developmentmethodologies is crucialA nalytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data toinform decisions and drive improvements in sourcing strategies and processes
Communication and Leadership:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadershipskills, capable of motivating teams and managing stakeholder expectations across differentlevels of an organization and with external partners
Customer-Centric Mindset:
A deep understanding of the needs of internal and externalsourcing clients, capable of translating those needs into product features that provide realvalue and enhance sourcing efficiency
Organizational and Project Management Skills:
Strong organizational and projectmanagement skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Agile Methodologies:
Extensive knowledge of agile methodologies, with experiencefacilitating sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
Exceptional skills in gathering, analyzing, anddocumenting requirements specific to hotel sourcing, translating complex needs intoactionable user stories and specifications for IT
Educational Background:
