STACKIT Go Engineer

You're interested in shaping the digital future of Europe's leading retail group and building our cutting-edge cloud and colocation business from scratch?
Then you will fit right in as a Go Developer at STACKIT.
We're a young corporate startup for digital services, from colocation to cloud. As part of the Schwarz Group, which also owns the Lidl and Kaufland retail brands, we strive to shape the European cloud market in the long run.
To realise this vision, we are looking for STACKITeers (m/f/d) who contribute their innovative ideas and go-getter mindset to tackling future challenges.

What You'll Do
You will be part of our STACKIT database development team, where you will develop integrations with various databases, through which actions can be performed and applied to the databases.
As a developer, you will be part of our agile development team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and services.
Together with the product team, you will take responsibility for the services provided (YBIYRI).
You will carry out problem and bug analyses and identify sustainable solutions.

What you will need
You will have a passion and enthusiasm for new technologies, such as software development issues,
You will have extensive knowledge of programming using Go; any other programming language may be an advantage.
You will have knowledge of gRPC
You will be familiar with Microservices architecture
You will have knowledge of PostgreSQL; any knowledge of another database will be a big help
Any knowledge of messaging (kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) can help you enormously in your day-to-day tasks
You will be happy to be part of an international team and speak good English.

The Project
The project consists of enabling new database services and their functionalities in STACKIT. The main objective of the team is to provide new integrations and perform occasional maintenance tasks, ensuring robust and reliable storage of even the most complex data.
