In Draxton HQ Barcelona we are looking for a new Customer Project Leader for our Differential Case Competence Center, who will partipate from the RFQ phase up to the new product sign-off acting as the main engineering interface with Customer(s) and coordination of the pre-nomination activities related to Customers.


Your mission as Customer Project Leader:

  • Capture Customer needs and product trends transforming them into opportunities for the company.
  • Organize & Lead prenomination engineering and tech review activities promoting the definition and presentation to the customer of alternative design solutions (codesign) including innovations to foster competitiveness.
  • Proactive management of all interactions with Customer through out all phases and up to the Signoff mainly related to the Customer central areas and delegating the Customer Plant interactions to the Program Manager.
  • Coordinate the integration of technical quotations, involving Product Engineers, and all the necessary technical roles, must drive the revision of manufacturing capacity needed for the new project.
  • Monitor the nomination status of new projects already quoted from the technical point of view.
  • Lead the review of all the available information of the project and kick off the design stage (included but not limited to: cost control, scope of supply, specifications, deliverables, key dates, lead times, budgets, target technical parameters, lessons learned to apply
    , risks assessment and specific additions or exclusions to the activities).
  • Get the Customer validation of the model and process design.
  • Lead the technical negotiations with Customer(s) of the new project.
  • Lead the official closure of the new project.

To be successful in the position you must hold:

  • Engineering Background.
  • Languages: English at professional level.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in similar positions in the automotive sector.
  • Availability for travel (30%)
