Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

  • With due recognition of adidas values and behaviours and in accordance with HR strategies and business objectives, this HR Generalist role will oversee the employee lifecycle management of 250 people approx., providing Business partnering service in our European Distribution Center (EDC) located in Caspe (Zaragoza).
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the local HR function in our EDC to ensure we provide a worldclass service to our employees.
  • Guide our EDC leadership team on HR topics such as strategic workforce planning.
  • Ensure labor law implementation and compliance with mandatory regulation, while driving negotiations with our Works Council.
  • Coordinate recruitment and selection process in alignment with our Talent acquisition team and according to our global guidelines.
  • Onboarding newcomers and newly assigned employees.
  • Drive talent review process with line managers to ensure proper development plans are in place with a special focus on top talents.
  • Consolidate development and training needs to action training plan accordingly.
  • Ensure flawless execution of our performance management yearly cycle (target setting, evaluation, communication, and action planning ensuring top and low performers are identified and managed).
  • Improving engagement both for back office and blue collars based on our Employee Listening Survey results and adhoc action planning.
  • Assessing the internal communication needs and supporting the delivery of key messages throughout the organization.
  • Coaching and developing our EDC team leads and line managers in a structured approach for improving their people management skills, coaching skills, and business acumen.
  • Ensuring all HR standards/procedures are updated regularly and fully implemented within the support area.
  • Ensuring all HR KPIs are achieved, all projects are implemented on time, within budget, and quality and create effective value for the organization.
  • Take ownership for HR projects (e.g., Global Salary Management System, Performance Evaluation Process, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Wellbeing).
  • Deliver proper updates of SAP modules and HR reports on a regular basis.

  • Iberia HR Team
  • European Distribution Center Director and Line Managers
  • HR CoE teams (TA, TP, Rewards)
  • Global/European HR Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Good Labor Law knowledge.
  • Experience in negotiating and dealing with Works Council and Unions.
  • Workforce planning experience.
  • Peoplefocused with an excellent ability to communicate with diverse employees.
  • Problemsolving skills.
  • Customeroriented, approachable, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive (engaging & impactoriented) mindset, both process and result oriented.
  • A good team player with supervisory and management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • University degree or equivalent (preferably Labor Relations/Law/psychology)
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive work experience in the field of HR; preferably in an international organization (ideally in Logistics or Retail organization).
  • Project management experience preferable.
  • English fluent (written and oral).
  • MS-Office skills and SAP experience.
