Visión General:
Bio-Rad has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join one of the world leaders within clinical diagnostics & life sciences and deliver excellent customer service to our key accounts across Spain (based in or around Tenerife - Canary Islands)
The service team is responsible for all activities supporting the installation, modification, and repair of customer instruments, both on customer site and sent to our Leipzig service centre.
And as responsabilities:
Attend customer sites, ensuring that all service and repair of instruments are conducted in accordance with SOPs, Health, and Safety regulations, and in a professional, presentable manner.
- Documenting all service visits accurately and forwarding, within the allocated time frame, to the Service Admin Department.
- Calls closed on day of Job.
- Deliver the First Time Fix KPI.
- Correct escalation of 2nd level issues.
- Maximize equipment performance in line with guidelines and Specialist direction.
- Keep updated technical & organizational records on all Bio-Rad systems.
- Stay up to date with the technological developments within your field of operation.
- Liaise and work with local Sales teams to meet market and business requirements.
- To be fully responsible for maintaining accurate records of personal parts inventory, ensuring the quality of all parts remain in the condition and packaging with parts numbers as received.

Performing repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on Bio-Rad's instruments, ensuring the quality performance of our instruments for customers who are working to advance the future of healthcare.
Supporting and maintaining the Bio-Rad instruments on which our customers rely on to make scientific breakthroughs helping to advance healthcare research and treatments.
Building and sustaining strong relationships allows you to anticipate and advocate for our customers needs.Adhere to regulations and requirements with detailed record keeping and service documentation which helps protect Bio-Rad's integrity and reputation in the industry.
What You Bring:
- Must have experience in the field of technical assistance for the technological instrumentation of automation.
- Technical degree and/or at least 3 years' experience in a customer facing environment.
- Working knowledge of technical English both verbal and written
- Good time management and communication skills
- Uptodate computer knowledge in both software and hardware including Microsoft Office
- Based in Canary Islands, preferably in Tenerife.
- Available to travel
