About the Role


As a
Junior Controller of the Finance team, you will work within the controlling and finance function of the Group, reporting to the Controlling Manager.

This is a role that will require
autonomy, attention to detail and drive.

You will be expected to demonstrate
ownership and proactivity, always under the
review and accompaniment by the Controlling Manager, to get things done to achieve an agile and accurate accounting function of a
global high-growth business.


The key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Deliver periodic financial and business analysis related.
  • Support business areas with financial information required on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with different areas (Accounting, Business).
  • Perform month, quarter, and yearend closing process.
  • Check business budgets and forecasts, checking for margin deviations: when where and why.
  • Ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
  • Identify key opportunities to maximize efficiency of the business decisions
  • Work closely with the Controlling Manager to escalate and resolve matters
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, evolving environment

About You
In order to be successful in this role, you will:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
-
1-2 or more of years experience within audit, accounting or similar functions (experience in audit is a plus).

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets is required
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to read, write & fluently speak the English language
  • Other languages are a plus
  • Proactive, selfstarter, able to communicate clearly both internally and externally
  • Rigorous and meticulous
  • Team player

This role is located at Fever's HQ in Madrid, and although we can be flexible with the timing you will be expected to move there if you are currently living elsewhere.
