Assistant International Mobility to join its team
IE University is one of the leading institutions in the educational field. Our undergraduate and graduate programs are fully taught in English and combine a multidisciplinary approach to professional education.
The IE University International Mobility department is responsible for the exchange programs of undergraduate students, including outgoing and incoming students, and for the relationship with over 230 top partner universities around the world.
The International Mobility assistant helps the department's leadership and the incoming coordinator in the operational activities required. It is also a point of contact with students and partner universities on a day-to-day basis.
The assistant will carry out all administrative tasks necessary for the smooth running of exchange programs, as well as for the development and launching of new initiatives; the position will also be involved in the daily activities related to the Erasmus Program.
They will also support in the coordination with other academic and administrative units within IEU.
The IM Assistant will report directly to the leadership of the IEU International Mobility department and to the Vice-Provost of Global Academic Partnerships & Alliances.

Responsibilities:
Your role as an Assistant International Mobility
will involve to:
- Assist the department's Director and the Incoming coordinator, in the operational activities required for the undergraduate international mobility program.
- Attend and support the incoming exchange and visiting students on a daily basis.
- Review and prepare documentation for students, and compile and update databases with students and partners' information.
- Participate in the preparation of the main events of the department (Welcome week, International Mobility Week, etc.).
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (students, partner universities, bachelor programs, IEU departments).
- Support the team in administrative tasks related to the scholarships such as the Erasmus Program.
- Support other activities that may be assigned.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish, and excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- A record of accomplishment of excellent customer service, organizational skills, and a "cando attitude".
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Eager to learn, adaptable to change and excellent teamwork skills.
- Strong desire to work in a multicultural environment.
- Openminded and respectful of diversity.
