As our business expands, we're seeking to enrich our team with this new pivotal position. As the Head of Strategy & Online Growth, You will be fully in charge of Blickers' sales growth and profit margins, including responsibility for controlling costs to improve profitability. You will work directly with the Founders to identify, define and implement growth and business development strategies. This position is the first of its kind, as the founders had been taking this responsibility, among others, until this point in time.

At Blickers we believe in autonomy, responsibility and balance. This is a remote work position, with regular business travel requirements to Reus.

Responsibilities

As the Head of Strategy & Online Growth at Blickers, you will:

  • Deeply analyze Blickers' Revenue and Cost data to find opportunities to grow and/or increase efficiency.
  • Expand to new markets, finding opportunities and researching to make sure we smoothly adapt to diverse consumer preferences and market conditions.
  • Continually benchmark against competitors, adjusting tactics and product offerings based on market insights.
  • Implement up and cross-selling strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee promotional activities on Blickers' digital platforms, giving guidelines, setting limits and providing feedback to the Marketing Team.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts with support from the CEO.
  • Define and implement strategies to expand the supplier base and/or open new product categories.
  • Work across teams to ensure seamless strategy implementation and alignment with Blickers' overall business objectives.
  • Deliver comprehensive performance reports, providing actionable insights for strategic adjustments and continuous revenue and margin enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business or Engineering.
  • Background in Business Consulting, Finance, and/or Growth.
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Planning and Strategy in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong analytical skills in Finance and Marketing, comfortable with multiple kinds of analytical tools.
  • Action oriented, with demonstrated ability in leading teams and conveying complex strategies to various stakeholders and ensuring execution of plans.
  • Knowledgeable about e-commerce trends and challenges.
  • Optical Sector knowledge is a bonus.
  • Fluent Spanish and English
