Responsibilities:

  • Research and stay up to date on the latest advancements in technology such as AI, blockchain, video analytics and sustainability (carbon removal, offset and reduction).
  • Identify opportunities and use cases for these technologies within the airline industry.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams from across the company to understand business objectives and develop innovative solutions to meet them.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and external partners to implement new technologies and solutions.
  • Lead the piloting of implementation of these technologies to demonstrate their value and potential.
  • Work closely with the development squad, creating user stories in Jira, tracking team performance with EasyBI and looking for improvements in ways of working.
  • Ensure the solution designs meet industry quality standards such for cyber security, robustness, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Track product OKRs, continuously evaluate the product's success and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure that the solutions are meeting their needs and making a positive impact on the business.

Qualifications:

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or relevant work experience in these fields.
  • 610 years of experience in IT and innovation.
  • Strong understanding of the latest tech trends.
  • Experience in leading pilots and trials.
  • Experience in working in Agile (scrum), using the Jira suite (Easy BI is a plus).
  • Experience as scrum master is a plus.
  • Experience in the airline industry is a plus.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Proactiveness, initiative taking and attention to detail are crucial qualities for this role.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
