Your mission

The Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) is a research institute in Barcelona aiming to advance the understanding of leukemia and related disorders, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. With laboratories in 5 clinical campuses, the IJC serves as a center for basic researchers and physicians to collaborate on clinical and biological aspects of leukemia.

We are seeking an Established postdoctoral researcher to join the Blood Stem Cell Identity group, led by Dr. Vincenzo Calvanese for a project focusing on TRANSCRIPTIONAL REGULATION OF SELF-RENEWAL IN HUMAN HAEMATOPOIETIC STEM CELLS using epigenomics, transcriptomics, and in vivo models.

Your profile

The ideal candidate should have a PhD in Biomedicine or related discipline, a strong track record of scientific production, at least 6 years of relevant postdoctoral experience, and expertise in gene expression regulation, stem cells, human leukemia pathogenesis, and genomics among other skills.

The candidate will lead a small team within the Calvanese group, manage research projects, and contribute to high-quality scientific output.
