ICIQ is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to work in the group of Prof. Núria López.Responsibilities Data management and Preprocessing Model Development and implementation Integration and deployment of deep learning models Performing Density Functional Theory (DFT) simulations along with data analysis Delivering presentations in group meetings Writing manuscripts, scientific articles, and proposals Communicating scientific results in National and International conferences (Oral/Poster)
Collaborating with experimentalists and collaborators in the "Superval" project and mentoring PhD / summer fellow / visiting students Requirements Holding a PhD degree in Chemistry/Physics/Chemical Engineering Proven experience in deep learning and track record in performing theoretical simulations Good communication skills in English Strong commitment for scientific excellence Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data Valued qualities:
Experience in the area of modelling of catalytic systems/Machine Learning/Data Science Proficiency in programming with Python, including experience in Chemistry and ML libraries (e.g., ASE, Pymatgen, PyTorch and PyTorch-Lightning) Ability to generate and manage large theoretical datasets Expertise in implementing scientific workflows with state-of-the-art frameworks (FireWorks and/or AiiDA) Experience in cutting-edge software development technologies (e.g., Git, Docker, MongoDB and Kubernetes).
