Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be instrumental in devising, producing, and sustaining cutting-edge data solutions that will define the future of our data ecosystem. Collaboration with the Data Science and Product teams to grasp data requirements and implement data pipelines and infrastructure supporting our data-centric initiatives is key.

Your proficiency in various areas, spanning from software engineering to database management, will play a crucial role in constructing robust and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain innovative data solutions tailored to industry-specific challenges.
  • Establish data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
  • Work with the Data Science team to support their data exploration, analysis, and modeling needs.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to understand data requirements and transform them into technical solutions.
  • Implement data quality checks and validation processes to guarantee data accuracy and integrity.
  • Create and update documentation related to data engineering processes.
  • Oversee project tasks and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering projects.
  • Proficient in Python for developing data processing pipelines, libraries, and applications.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases (knowledge of NoSQL databases is advantageous).
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash for automation purposes.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker.
  • Experience using Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and adept at analyzing complex data-related issues.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering top-notch solutions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams. Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML) techniques and frameworks, as well as Large Language Model (LLM) technologies, is highly beneficial.
  • Experience with Agent workflows is highly advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to large datasets and big data technologies is a plus.
