They are the world's first Enterprise Network Operator (ENO) and they go beyond traditional connectivity providers to offer unique, customized IoT solutions designed to give enterprises, both large and small, ownership and control of their connectivity, from the IoT SIM card right up to a completely private network.
We are looking for a Telecoms Mobile Engineer to join their Network Operations team in Spain to deploy and support mobile network services.
What will your day to day tasks be?You will be responsible for the day to day running of network, and to support the company with new customer projects, network deployments and network troubleshooting.
Requirements:
What are the technical requirements? Formal telecoms/electronic qualification or equivalent experience gained through previous roles. Fluent speaking english (C1 level). Understanding of the home mobile core network architecture including HLR / HSS, GGSN / P-GW, SMS-C, CAMEL Phase 2.
Understanding of mobile roaming architecture including the role of serving networks, signaling interconnect and GRX / IPX providers Knowledge of 2G / 3G networking, and 4G LTE technologies Experience of working with a range of telecoms technologies Solid understanding of Telecom protocols including Signaling SS7 & SIGTRAN, Diameter Technical knowledge of maintaining on-premises equipment and cloud services in areas such as virtual machines, storage, network and security.
Experience in deploying and maintaining production infrastructure to achieve high levels of uptime and reliability.Experience in Protocols:
SS7 / MAP / SCCP, Diameter LTE Signaling, SIP signaling, RADIUS, Diameter Gy/Gx, GTP v1/v2.
Experience in Platforms:
Linux O/S: Centos especially, MySQL and Postgres databases, Virtualisation & Containerisation technologies, including Cloud (AWS, Azure), VMware, Docker.
Experience in mobile core network infrastructure:
HLR/HSS, GGSN/P-GW, STP, DRA, Experience with roaming troubleshooting, 2/3G Network elements and messages used for network registration and roaming 4G Diameter network elements and messages used for network registration and roaming.
