Job Title: Restaurant and Bars Manager at EDITION Hotel

Areas of responsibility include the management of daily restaurant operations, menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting servers and hosts during peak meal periods. The goal is to enhance guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance.

  • Full Time position based at The Madrid EDITION Hotel
  • Number of Direct Reports - up to 32
  • Size of Unit (Number of Rooms) - 200
  • Classification of Unit (AAAA - D) - B

Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related areas. OR
  • 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field with 2 years of experience.
  • Preferred experience in Luxury / Lifestyle Food & Beverage sector.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Managing Day-to-Day Operations:
    • Supervising and managing employees to ensure service and sanitation standards are met.
    • Reviewing staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives.
  • Leading Food and Beverage Team:
    • Utilizing interpersonal skills to lead and influence team members.
    • Encouraging trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
    • Setting specific goals and plans to prioritize work and ensure productivity.
    • Ensuring compliance with all food & beverage standards and regulations.
  • Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service:
    • Providing superior service to exceed customer expectations.
    • Empowering employees to deliver excellent customer service.
    • Handling guest issues and feedback to improve service.
  • Managing Human Resource Activities:
    • Guiding and training subordinates to improve performance.
    • Soliciting employee feedback and addressing concerns to enhance service.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Providing information to supervisors and colleagues.
    • Recognizing quality products and supervising daily operations.
