Responsibilities

Oversees Production Coordinators, Production Assistants, and respective department crews. Collaborates with Production Managers to maintain the production schedule. Assists in department setup and operations in coordination with supervisors. Coordinates with the CG Supervisor to address technical challenges within department deadlines. Ensures production schedules and budgets are met and updated as necessary, communicating impacts of changes to management. Plans ahead to meet quotas, milestones, and inventory targets, working with teams to address any issues. Generates and maintains productivity reports for departments and individual artists. Assists in assigning tasks and deadlines, conducts crew check-ins, and participates in Director approvals. Monitors inventory flow, sets meeting expectations, and strategizes to maintain productivity levels. Prioritizes and guides Production Coordinators and PAs, while managing crew schedules. Provides mentorship and support to team members, fostering their artistic and professional growth. Stays updated on relevant technology trends and tools to enhance the creative environment.

Requirements

6+ years in VFX or animation industries. 3+ years in feature production or equivalent experience on multiple projects. Experience working with remote crews on multiple films is a plus. Proficient in ShotGun, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook/Gmail, and production tracking databases. Thorough understanding of film production pipeline and methodologies. Advanced proficiency in English with Spanish skills being desirable.
