Responsibilities:
- Translate and localize subtitles from English to Spanish (Spain), ensuring they are contextually appropriate for the audiovisual content.
- Independently create subtitles from scratch utilizing subtitle editing software while complying with standard industry formatting rules.
- Manage tasks involving acquiring, retiming, and converting subtitles and closed captions across various file types (e.g.,.srt,.itt,.xml,.txt).
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in subtitle localization and editing.
- Proficiency in Spanish (Spain) as the primary language, with advanced writing, speaking, and editing skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using subtitle creation tools.
- Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines and remain focused on tasks.
- Extensive experience with OTT services and proficiency in adhering to OTT style guides.
- Excellent multitasking skills, a flexible work approach, and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with an international team.
- Previous experience in the entertainment and broadcasting industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
