Are you passionate about finance & eager to learn? Than you might be the dynamic controller we're looking forJob Description As a Senior Controller you work closely with the finance and business management for your scope.
You not only play a critical role in supporting key management decisions (translating business topics of a broad scope into financials and also challenge them).
You are also responsible for financial planning, reporting and analysis based on business information.You are in regular contact with other finance colleagues:
the local & global accounting team, other controllers and have intensive interaction with the business managers. Combination of this is absolutely key to be successful in this function.

You are part of our global finance team and report to the Business Partner Technology.Your main areas of responsibility are: Be the finance SPOC and the finance key person for your scope by helping the business to translate strategic decisions in financials and use the financials to help steer in the right direction Support your finance colleagues of Technology where needed Understand the business model and market to be able to challenge the business where needed Based on financials and business discussions, manage risks and opportunities together within your business Owner of the budget, forecast and long-term planning of your scope Perform monthly analysis and challenge the financials, in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as historical trends of your scope Interact with local accounting for each country where your scope is applicable Provide ad hoc analysis e.g.
business cases to support management with financial decisions Initiate and contribute to continuous improvement of processes Participate in local and global initiatives, this may request occasional travel Profile Master degree in Economics, Accounting, Corporate Finance or similar You have minimum 5 years of relevant working experience within finance, controlling experience is a must You are pro-active, have a critical mindset and a hands-on attitude You have strong communication, problem-solving skills, are able to plan effectively and feel comfortable to take critical decisions You feel confident talking to senior management You are energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence You are fluent in spoken and written English Experienced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of SAP4Hana, SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI is a plus Offer You will be working in a dynamic, international and fast growing company with ambitious plans for the future – on-the-job training in a role that offers opportunities for growth You will not only work in a large Finance department with many experience and knowledge but as well very close to the business The working culture at SD Worx is flexible, hands-on and pragmatic with a flat organization structure and short decision lines Occasional travel is requested to be close to the business and/or Finance We offer a motivating salary package with fringe benefits, in accordance with your knowledge and experience Whether you want to become an expert in your field or to expand your knowledge more horizontally, there is always room to grow within SD Worx#J-18808-Ljbffr
