Annual Giving Campaign Coordinator


Global Alumni Relations (GAR) provides engagement services, resources and benefits to our alumni network that consists of more than 65,000 alumni worldwide and liaises across the IE stakeholder map to ensure the community stays connected to each other and IE throughout their lifetime.

The team consists of 15 dedicated staff members based in Madrid and shared resources in Europe, Middle East, U.S. and Asia‐Pacific that focus on alumni and careers.

  • Plan and oversee execution of annual giving campaign, including all aspects of fundraising strategy, alumni outreach, project timeline, messaging, and marketing
  • Coordination and proactive communication across international clubs and alumni volunteers to ensure global reach, ensuring support, necessary marketing materials, and visibility.
  • Coordinate all facets of the annual fundraising campaign calendar ensuring timelines are met
  • Secure new, renewed, or increased funding from individuals through online giving, direct mail and digital campaigns, and special events
  • Monitor and analyse performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign and adjust strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure alignment and consistency across all organizational messaging and channels
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of donor information at all times. Maintain and adhere to policies around information gathering and sharing in accordance with professional ethics standards.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • 35 years' experience in nonprofit fundraising and/or marketing, preferably in annual giving
  • Familiarity with fundraising best practices and trends
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both English and Spanish
  • Master's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, attention to detail is essential. The ability to notice the minutest details of an event is critical.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with an ability to work well under pressure and manage priorities effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to achieve shared goals
