The position

The Laboratory Technician (M/F/d) ensures smooth and safe operation of the I&TD laboratory and executes in collaboration with the relevant scientists experiments for new pipeline products development and process innovation.

The main activities and responsibilities

  • Designs and executes lab research activities focusing on new product and technology development. Also, when required, executes activities for Centrient ́s Strain Conservation Unit.
  • Manages the I&TD laboratory, ensuring the right equipment is available and in technical good shape for seamless execution of all ongoing research.
  • Maintain quality system and ensure good traceability of data, implement lab management best practices.
  • Maintains relations with all suppliers and key stakeholders for the above.
  • Ensure that all activities comply with legal regulatory requirements and company QESH (Quality, Environment, Safety and Health) policy.
  • Participates in scaleup and techtransfer.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a relevant life science field such Biotechnology, Microbiology or similar.
  • Minimum of 23 years' experience in relevant pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluent proficiency in English language (written and spoken)
  • Experience in Lab management and safety.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Good understanding of GMP practices & requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a global environment.
