As a Market Development Engineer focusing on IP&E technologies, you will be responsible for determining, developing, scaling, and leading the implementation of successful solution programs to drive market, sales, and profit growth within specific markets or business segments.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Specialize in key market segments and technologies assigned within the Vertical
- Create and lead the go-to-market strategy for the assigned market/business segment
- Conduct business strategy activities including market analysis, competitive research, and product positioning
- Collaborate with the BU on product development and management activities
- Work with suppliers and engineering resources to define product needs and priorities
- Create and execute comprehensive product and service offers
- Develop communication programs and materials for business development
- Evaluate and manage supplier and channel programs
- Contribute to marketing campaigns aimed at increasing market share
- Lead Voice of Customer activities to capture feedback and identify opportunities
- Build and maintain key supplier relationships
- Participate in joint sales calls and supplier training activities
What qualifications are we seeking?
- Experience in the electronics industry or similar roles in Sales, Engineering, Marketing, or Product Management
- Experience in IP&E and business strategy
- Strong sales skills and business acumen
- Full driving license and willingness to travel for business
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Expertise in engaging with executive-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record in market/segment management and delivering results
- Understanding of performance measurement tools
- Project and team leadership experience
