- While all Animation studios look to hire people who are creative and hardworking, Skydance Animation is specifically looking for pioneers who seek to push the limits of what the world's most collaborative art form can achieve, and to give those pioneers the space and the resources to build a new studio that's doing something different.
FX Junior Artist, you will create all kinds of simple effects based on volumes, particle systems, rigid bodies, etc. with in-house tools in Houdini.
Responsibilities:
- Generate precomps of the effects for review with the Lead or Supervisor.
- Attention to detail.
- Good sense of timing to animate effects.
- Create simple effects.
- Creativity solving technical challenges.
- Assist other team members when necessary.
- Follow supervisor and lead guidance.
Requirements:
- 02 years of professional experience in VFX or animation industries.
- Strong artistic or/and technical aptitude related to 3D animation is a must.
- Knowledge of CG FX with software Houdini.
- Knowledge of Maya and Arnold is a big plus.
- VEX/Python scripting abilities, are a big plus.
- Advanced English desirable.
