We are looking for a Release Engineer to manage and lead the EMEA platform releases, working alongside other business units and being the point person for discussion regarding releases of platform.
This role will work and be a key part of the team, working with peer release engineers, product owners and product managers across multiple regions, facilitating and coordinating modern, iterative, agile approaches to software delivery.
- Participate in daily meetings and drive prioritization with the squads
- Be the SME for the product teams regarding releases.
- Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
- Assist is writing detailed release notes, platform architecture diagrams.
- Manage and facilitate Go/No-Go meetings.
- Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
- Writing acceptance criteria and tests for acceptance. What is DONE?
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
- Display thought leadership, drive process, and support work/life balance initiatives.
- Understand CI/CD processes, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes and docker.
- Collaboration with business, technical and creative partners to ensure timely delivery of capabilities launch readiness, communications and training.
- Ability to embrace change and a constant appetite to learn.
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
- Meticulous eye for detail in all aspects of the development, planning and estimation.
- Experience in managing multi skilled delivery teams
