The PM is the main interface with the Customer and Customer Project Team.
He/she has the responsibility to initiate, plan, execute, finalize and monitor & control the project in accordance with the customer's contractual terms and specification, within the agreed timescales and budget, this includes coordinating the project team as well as any third-party contractors or consultants.
PM is also responsible for defining clear project objectives, building the project requirements and managing the constraints in terms of costs, time, scope and quality.
KEY Duties & Responsibilities- Manage all project activities and retains the final responsibility for the execution of the Project. Represents the Company towards the Customer and resolves all issues related to the implementation of the Project activities
- Direct and manage all aspects of multidiscipline projects from initiation through completion
- Progress the Project activities in close coordination with the engineering and installation disciplines
- Ensure the correct allocation of the resources necessary for carrying on and completing the project
- Availability to business trip (around 30% per year of working activities)
- Preferably at least 5 years of professional experience as a Project Manager within the oil & gas, energy sector of a multinational company
- Previous work experience with EPCI projects
- Master's Degree in Engineering or similar related Degrees with a PMP certification
- Strong negotiation skills, team working abilities and excellent leadership and influencing skills
- Flexible mindset and able to work in a very dynamic context
- Very strong analytical skills
- Selfdependent work behavior and flexibility are essential
- Specific knowledge of submarine cable and offshore operations are a plus
- Experience in dealing with subcontractors (preferred).
