Job Summary:

As Chief Technology Officer, you'll strategize long-term technological advancements to align with organizational goals, while providing support and overseeing system infrastructure for optimal functionality. Your role involves identifying and implementing innovative technologies for competitive advantage, aiding departments in profitable tech utilization, and evaluating new solutions for scalability. You'll monitor technology trends, review product performance, manage IT systems, budgets, and KPIs, all while incorporating stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement and effectively communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the long-term strategy for IT to support long-term goals through technological advancements in order to align the organization with its vision and its technological needs.
  • Provide technological support and supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
  • Help departments use technology profitably.
  • Evaluate and implement new solutions, working closely with team members to deliver technical solutions in an agile environment to ensure scalability.
  • Identify and analyze emerging trends of technology landscape and developments as well as providing recommendation and presenting business ideas for technology initiatives and improvements.
  • Regularly review product performance to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Monitor and manage IT budgets to assess technological performance while ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs and dashboard to assess technological performance.
  • Use stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
  • Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors.

About you:

  • Bachelor's in engineering , computer science, or similar.
  • At least ten (10) years working in technological roles.
  • Proven track record of success in leadership positions, technology innovation, design, development, and implementation.
  • Strong background in frontend or backend technologies.
  • Possesses critical thinking & problem-solving skills; Successful track record of delivering business results.
  • Ability of develop a tech strategy and roadmap which is aligned with the company's business goals at all times.
  • Exceptional team management skills and ability to delegate efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience in the tourism sector or ecommerce would be a plus.
  • Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
