What you'll be getting up to

:

  • Identify components to be tested and define rapid and pragmatic fit for purpose testing in alignment with the rest of the development squad.
  • Follow best practices, promote industry standards and ensure our products are reliable with an excellent user experience.
  • Knowledge of business requirements and their impact on delivery.
  • Ensure bugs reported in the Defect Management tools are complete, clear, concise and comprehensive for other team members to replicate and/or understand reported defects with all the necessary supporting information.
  • Gather, analyse and summarise test results.
  • Work closely with the development team to provide technical expertise and support in terms of test automation.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce automation and be open to learn and grow in that area.
  • The role requires being available for on call support if required.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

  • An understanding of continuous integration/delivery.
  • Background on testing RESTful Web Services using Postman or similar tools.
  • Strong background in Agile software development methodologies.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years working experience in a Senior QA position. Experience in automation is a plus.
  • Execute software quality assurance testing via automation tools.
  • Able to operate as an Analyst / Quality Analyst and Automation QA.
  • Basic understanding of Playwright, Cypress or similar technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of Page Object Model pattern.
  • Experience using web based task management and resource allocation tools such as JIRA.
  • Experience with Linux will also be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of mobile testing is a plus.

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of working experience in QA working on varied type of software development projects.
  • Bachelor 's degree.
  • Good oral and written English communication skills.
  • Creative, analytical, and with strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong grasp of established and emerging technologies, systems, platforms, and software.
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities.
  • Independent but collaborative, driven, assertive, and willing to work on simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to work in a team and works well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Background in Agile Software Development using Scrum Methodology is preferred but not required.
Background in Online Gaming is preferred but not required
