A day in the life of a Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for using advanced analytics to provide robust measurements in the area Digital marketing performance and effectiveness, various product categories, and varied geographies.

You will work closely with stakeholders in different zones and working for different categories to provide guidance on how to best size and optimize the return on investment from Digital Marketing & Digital ecosystem initiatives, and support the commercial strategy.

What you'll do Share your experience and knowledge and build Nestlé's internal Data Science capabilities.
Partner with marketing & commercial stakeholders to build and deliver a portfolio of advanced analytics initiatives.

Work cross-functionally to identify and answer business problems/ and questions using appropriate modeling techniques on available dataEvangelize and provide advisory services around data science capabilities and knowledge within Nestlé and work with large, complex data sets and solve non-standard problems.

You are educated to BSc or preferably with MSc level (or equivalent) in Math, Statistics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics, or Data Science.

You have minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist handling large datasets and reporting automation.

You are able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of various types of analysis like:
regression modeling, classification methods, propensity modeling, clustering/segmentation algorithms, customer analysis, customer life time values etc.

You feel excited with the idea of prototyping and experimenting new approaches and methodologies in different business areasYou should have the ability to network and influence at senior levels both internally and externally and be able to interpret data and explain business performance in an easy-to-understand way that tells a story to key stakeholders.

You have proven experience of working in a matrix environment, achieving results through effective influencing and collaboration.
You have advanced MS Excel, SQL, Python (preferred), R, (or similar) experience. Bonus Points If You have Any proven experience in the afore-mentioned statistical methodologies, will be highly valued.
Previous experience in Data Science roles, with proven career track, is a plus.
Exposure to Digital Marketing analytics and/or eCommerce, is a plus.
Previous experience within FMCG industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
