We are currently looking for an Investment Principal specialized in Venture/Private Debt to lead our Debt strategy.
In this role, your main responsibilities will be:
You will have direct responsibility for the development of the new debt business line, reporting to the division's Managing Partners. Below is an outline of the responsibilities of the position:
- Structuring of the business line, which will include the development of internal business and management procedures.
- Co-responsibility for fund marketing and business development activities.
- Sourcing investment opportunities and structuring deals in Spain and Europe.
- Co-responsibility in the management of possible equity-debt synergies in investment opportunities in other funds of other business lines.
- Responsibility for the management of portfolio companies, as well as the representation of Axon's objectives on Boards of Directors.
- Building and managing a dedicated team as the business line grows.
- Responsibility for the generation of all types of reports and presentations.
- Attendance and representation of Axon at all types of industry events.

What we are looking for:
For this position we are looking for a professional with great leadership skills, who can work autonomously and benefit from their communication skills in the interaction with their network of contacts.
This profile must meet the following requirements:
- General work experience of at least 7-10 years.
- Specific experience in Debt Funds (venture or similar)
- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration and management, finance or related. Postgraduate education is a plus.
- High level of English (C1/C2)
