JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Education and qualifications:
    • University degree related to job description duties
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Catalan and Spanish
    • Additional training in competitive research projects
    • Good level of English will be valued

Experience and knowledge:

  • Minimum +2 years of work experience in post-award management of basic and clinical research grants funded by national organizations
  • Experience in financial management

Personal skills:

  • Self-motivated
  • Well-organized
  • Proactive and results-oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and relational skills
  • Experience in research institutions and/or project management in the biomedical sector will be valued

Main responsibilities and duties:

  • Management of grant budgets, preparing financial reports and audits
  • Monitoring project work plan, scientific reports and implementation of grant agreements
  • Anticipating possible deviations during project implementation, planning risk contingency actions if necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with institutional policies and sponsoring agency regulations and policies
  • Serving as liaison between researchers and funding agencies

Labour conditions:

  • Full-time position: 40h/week

Gross annual salary:

Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.

Contract:

Open-ended contract linked to the project
