What You'll Do


You will own the development and execution of the Marketing channel strategy and plan for the Service Provider segment with special focus on Telefonica.

This entails marketing activities with Service Provider as a Partner to end customers, covering all global markets that Telefonica and Cisco have significant joint market presence and agreements.


  • The marketing channel strategy and plan will be developed in collaboration with members of the sales, channel teams and the Country Marketing Team, Global Marketing teams aligned to local and global priorities striving for measurable service provider business impact in your region.

You will have the following accountability:

  • Provide leadership in a cross-functional team to develop and execute an Telefonica GTM marketing channel strategy and plan with partner marketing reaching end customers.
  • Drive a Joint Marketing Plan with Telefonica, which entails working directly with Telefonica on joint marketing strategies, joint value propositions and plans to drive awareness, preference, and demand for joint solutions in France.
  • Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with EMEAR Regional Partner Marketing, the Country Service Provider Channel team, Country Architecture teams to ensure sharing of best practices and leveraging of resources.

Who You Are


You have a clear understanding of the Service Provider market, your ability to synthesize market forces and sales strategy into a coherent marketing channel strategy is crucial.


  • You are able to manage complex projects with multiple deliverables, many of which come from other groups and teams. This requires the ability to develop a holistic view of deliverables, understand how these deliverables fit together and are dependent upon each other, modify the plan as schedules and deliverables change, and work with the extended team to ensure timely delivery.
  • Here some skills we are looking for:
  • Marketing Excellence: experience in developing marketing channel strategies and plans with focus on the Small and Commercial Customer Segment
  • Executive Presence and experience in influencing partners
  • Ability to synthesize information into simple yet memorable thought leadership pieces and localized copy. Writing capabilities for internal and external communications.
  • Additional qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing At least 5 to 10+ years of experience in Marketing including experience to develop and deliver demand generation plans to impact pipeline generation goals
  • Up to date knowledge of current tools and techniques for Marketing execution
  • Service Provider business & technical knowledge understand Service Provider industry and trends, business models and networking technologies
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills across virtual and global teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High Energy, Results driven
  • Languages: fluent in Spanish and English
