The Hotel

Gilles & Boissier, Parisian designers, have crafted an elegant residential design for the 100 rooms and 53 suites. Each space, including unique specialty suites, is inspired by the hotel's history, Spanish culture, and art.

Undergoing a meticulous restoration honoring César Ritz's legacy, the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, boasts a prime location, five exceptional restaurants and bars overseen by a top Spanish chef, and outstanding leisure and wellness facilities, aiming to be Madrid's ultimate luxury hotel.

Scope of Position

The PBX Operator's responsibilities include answering incoming calls, directing calls to guests or staff, taking messages, providing information on guest services, and assisting with inquiries about hotel events and services.

Reporting Line/s

The PBX Operator will directly report to the Front Office Manager, Assistant FOM, and House Managers.

Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

  • Operating the switchboard following management's policies and procedures
  • Answering calls clearly and assisting callers
  • Handling overseas calls, wake-up calls, and maintaining cleanliness in the department
  • Relaying messages accurately, following emergency procedures, and reporting technical issues promptly
  • Providing information on hotel facilities, events, and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group
  • Maintaining communication privacy, supporting Front Office Staff, and updating profile information through Voicemail service
  • Completing tasks assigned by management, ensuring punctuality, and adhering strictly to hotel rules
