In CIC energiGUNE we are looking for a Product Development Engineer for the Cell Prototyping Group to collaborate in different projects

Functions to be performed:
Design new cell integration concepts considering final application requirements.

Design mounting systems to secure the battery cells into battery pack within the vehicle chassis while considering factors like ease of assembly, structural strength and serviceability.

Develop simulation models to analyze and predict the behavior of the systems under various conditions.

Simulate potential failure modes and assess their impact on the overall system (structural, thermal)Compare simulation results with real-world experimental data to validate the accuracy of the models.

Knowledge in other engineering fields (simulation, automation, etc) will be of interest.
Good knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, CAD design, Material Science and Numerical Methods in a product development environment.
Experience of at least 3 years in the required functions. Knowledge in the battery field will be valued.

Languages:
English (spoken and written) is a must
