The project:

Design, implement, and maintain our telecommunications systems in a worldwide environment.

What will the role entail?:

• Design and implement telecommunications solutions to support retail operations.
• Configure and manage Cisco and Fortinet network devices.
• Monitor and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with IT and retail teams to align telecommunications strategies with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes

Job competences:

• Strong knowledge of Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances.
• Experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
• Fortinet NSE certification preferred.
• Network Design and Implementation:
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network architectures.
• Experience with VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and network segmentation.
• Strong problemsolving skills for diagnosing and resolving network issues efficiently.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS (additional to previous):

Cloud Networking:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Understanding of cloud networking concepts and services.

Unified Communications:

Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and unified communications platforms (e.g., Cisco Unified Communications Manager).

Wireless Networking:

Experience with designing and managing wireless networks.
Knowledge of Wi-Fi standards and best practices.

SD-WAN Technology:

Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions and their implementation.
