Molding Manager to be located in SRG Ibi plant (Alicante).

What You Will Do

  • Follow the production master plan ensuring product & quality standards and molding line service, using the Injection area resources in the most efficient way.
  • Lead injection technicians by providing daily tracking and coaching to achieve the injection area objectives and personal development.
  • Support mold testing to ensure the required quality and process stability. Participate in the early stages of industrialization (Part and Tool definition, mold testing...)
  • Create and validate production standards.
  • KPI's analysis.
  • Achieve the plant financial targets related to the Injection Area. Manage the Injection costs efficiently.
  • Participate in molding machines and auxiliar equipment definition.
  • Deploy FMEA and Control Plan Methodology in the Injection area to improve the injection production process.
  • Lead internal, external and customer audits.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Mechanical or Chemical preferable.
  • Managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in molding process (scientific injection, injection defects knowledge, detect and fix, master setup).
  • 6 axis Robot at EGA knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Polymers or/and materials engineering (mainly ABS, ABS/PC, PC, ASA).
  • Fluent in English language, spoken and written.
  • Work experience in a company under strict quality standards.
  • Electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics knowledge.
  • Good communications skills, problem solving and analytical skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Master's degree in engineering, processing, and characterization of materials.
  • Problem analysis system (8D).
  • Tooling design knowledge and experience.
  • Experience on sequenced hotrunner systems.
  • Molding process experience in automotive industry.
