Postdoctoral Researcher

Advanced Chronic Liver Disease Laboratory, Liver Diseases Research Group
VHIR offers a vacant position for a
Post-Doctoral Researcher within the ACLD-Liver Diseases Research
Group. The hired person will perform coordination duties, conduct in vitro and in vivo studies with the rat model
of advanced liver disease and participate in research publications.

Education and qualifications:

Required:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences

  • PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
  • Certificate of Animal experimentation
  • Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

Desired:

Publication track on liver disease

Experience and knowledge:

Required:
-
At least 5 years' experience working in research laboratory (liver disease).

  • Knowledge of experimental procedures on liver disease and rodent models.
  • Ability to carry out experiments on liver disease in rats.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Supervising the students of the laboratory

  • Participate in grants proposals
  • Prepare and defend research communications to conferences
  • Analyze data from research projects

Labour conditions:

Full-time position: 40h/week.

  • Starting date: 01/07/2024.
  • Gross annual salary: 31.620,86 euros
  • Contract: _Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project _
Length of the contract: 6 months.
