  • At Palex Group, a leading company in the hospital sector, we are hiring a
    Head of Corporate Treasury for our offices in Sant Cugat del Vallès.
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, the head of Corporate Treasury will lead and
coordinate the setting up of the corporate treasury department, defining roles
and responsibilities (at group and at local level), group policies, systems and
banking map. He or she will be also focused on the search for financial
efficiencies and synergies.

Main responsabilities:

  • Optimization of the Group's financial resources
  • Evaluation of the Group's cash needs
  • Definition of the Group's treasury policy
  • Definition of the Group's hedging policy
  • Creation and maintenance of the Group's treasury reporting
  • Coordination of the daily communications with financial institutions
  • Coordination of the Group's insurances
  • Participation in the new financing processes
  • Support in the budget and forecast process
  • Support to local teams
  • Coordination with other corporate finance teams
  • Identify areas for improvement, proposing customized and rational solutions, in terms of costs, for the areas where they are needed.
  • Ensure compliance with the provisions established by the BoD and establish the necessary principles of action so that they can be put into practice.

Basic Training:

  • Higher university education in the area of Economics or Management.
Specialized training in treasury or finance will be a plus.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 year previous experience in corporate treasury departments.
