DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

As a Sales Development Representative, your main responsibility will be connecting Senior IT/Cyber/Information Security professionals to discuss our vendor technologies, showcasing the Ignition Technology value proposition to support their business strategies.

You will schedule prospect meetings, establish strong relationships, and act as the main liaison between IG UK, vendors, and customers.

This role involves generating a high volume of leads, mainly supporting vendors like Illumio, Axonius, and Orca, with potential involvement with others as required.

As the Sales Development Representative, you will:

  • Understand the Ignition technology value proposition
  • Develop and maintain knowledge about our vendor technologies
  • Have a deep understanding of customer accounts and their position in the market
  • Identify new sales opportunities to kickstart the IG and vendor pipeline
  • Arrange virtual meetings with our UK teams and the vendor
  • Achieve call out and KPI targets to ensure qualified leads for the Vendor and Ignition Technology
  • Contact a minimum of 40 different decision-makers daily, aiming for at least 5 meetings per month with a minimum of 3 attended
  • Participate in client meetings and act as the ongoing point of contact for customers regarding Ignition and the Vendor, managing diaries effectively

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

If you have previous telemarketing or lead generation experience, especially in enterprise software, it would be advantageous.

  • Proficiency in English, additional European language skills are beneficial
  • Must be located in Madrid with the legal right to work in Spain, offering remote/hybrid working options
  • Research skills, familiarity with LinkedIn and Sales Navigator tools is a plus
  • Passion for software and cybersecurity, eager to learn and grow in the industry
