We are hiring for our Business Operations office located in Milan, Italy or Argentona, Spain a Logistics & Supply Planning Manager to lead the team of supply planning specialists and logistics specialists to together ensure the execution andfulfillment of all supply planning & logistics activities within the cluster south (Italy, Spain and Portugal). In this role you can drive continuous improvement initiatives and will be involved in cross functional project management.
Your main task will be:
Logistics and Supply Planning Operations and Process Excellence
- Lead and develop the Logistics and Supply Planning team (crosscountry) in defined set of
- Ensure clear priorities and followup on defined KPIs to monitor the process performance and
- Coordinate and support the team in the efficient execution of daily Logistics operations (e.g.,
containers; returns; logistics claims; inventory count, rework and disposal; Tax, Custom, Legal
(E.G. Intrastat, ADR, LTSD), Logistics value adding services
- Ensure the creation, management, and monitoring of subcontracting orders, inbound and
- Ensure Inventory Allocation Tier 2 (local DCs to customer) and inventory health
- Perform Logistics and Supply Planning cost control and reporting
- Validate and approve Logistics and Subcontracting invoicing (1st level invoice approval)
- Monitor weekly / monthly KPI's and costs, find efficiency opportunities and follow up with 3PL
- Manage RFC's from Customers, tesa and 3rd party on all logistics parameters
- Support tenders for distribution and warehousing
Continuous Improvement & Project Management
- Support, pitch, and implement ideas for process optimization (First Time Right
- Support or run projects at cluster level
- Develop guidelines and standard operating procedures on cluster level
- Lead the European process harmonization in defined set of countries
- Lead 3PL in the continuous improvement projects
- Support internal / external audits in Logistics matters
- University degree with preferred Supply Chain specialization (APICS certification as a plus)
- 7+ years of experience in a logistics and supply planning role within a matrix organized
- Experience in leading, building and developing a crosscountry team in an international,
- Very good written and spoken English skills (C1 level or higher), native Italian or Spanish
- Capability to liaise with and influence senior stakeholders to enable the logistics & supply
- Project management and track record to drive CIP
- Skilled communicator with a focus on stakeholder involvement
- Strong in analytical and logical thinking
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tough deadlines
- Ability to work with and understand big data
- Motivated to collaborate in an international environment, with the willingness to
