Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning was established on October 1st, 2015 as a joint venture between Hitachi Appliances, Inc. (now Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc.) and Johnson Controls, Inc. Hitachi Appliances carved out and contributed its air conditioning business to the Joint Venture. Johnson Controls acquired a 60% stake of the carved-out business and Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. continues as a 40% shareholder of this venture.

For our Vacarisses Plant, in Barcelona, we are looking for a:

Laboratory Engineer CE Certification

What you will do
The Quality department in our company covers a wide range of activities and needs to recruit a Engineer for its laboratory CE Certification for software control test and CE marks, Faraday Chambers & other testing areas

Also, to ensure the correct execution of the tests, and the creation of technical reports.

How you will do it

• Carrying out tests under different methodologies; Electromagnetic Compatibility Tests (EMC), Electrical Safety (LVD), Mechanical Safety.
• Control and update of the regulations and standards applicable to our products.
• Maintaining and creating work and operating instructions to ensure the correct functioning of the laboratory.
• Execution of the test plan; assembly, preparation and execution of tests.
• Preparation of technical documentation and results reports.

What we are looking for
Degree in Electronic, Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering.

Previous experience with Electrical Testing, EMC, LVD, Mechanical Safety is an asset.

Previous experience with electrical and/or mechanical measuring equipment is an asset.

Analytical, Communication Skills, and ability to work with deadlines.

Organization, proactivity and orientation to results and team goals.

High English Level.
